Trail Description

The Moose Walk Trail is located around the Sawtooth Mountains located around Silver Bay, MN & the North Shore. This trail can be a great trail to start your North Shore adventure on as it connects with the Red Dot Trail, Moose Run Trail, and Wild Country Trail. This trail consists of multiple loops, and is approximately 22 miles long on its own. When riding along this trail, you will find yourself deep in the forest riding over different types of terrain that consist primarily of rock and harder packed dirt. If you pay close attention, you will also find amazing views between all the spruce and pine trees that make up so much of the forest in the area.

Wild Hurst Lodge and Campground - This campground has cabins, RV hookups, and tent options right along the trail.

Hotels:

AmericInn Hotel - Experience has shown this hotel to be a mediocre option, however it does offer direct trail access.

Fuel:

Bri-Esa’s gas - Located directly across the street from the main trailhead.

Food:

Jimmy’s Pizza - Located Directly across the street from the main trailhead

Finland Co-Op - Located almost at the half way point if you add the Moose Run Trail into your ride
